Louis Ragy, a Lebanese-American export promotion expert, entrepreneur, and business development strategist. He brings over 30 years’ experience and an entrepreneurial track record of successfully improving revenues and profitability of established businesses, SMEs, and start-ups. He also has extensive experience working with the public/private sectors on export promotion, sales, and competitiveness internationally.
Currently, as Trade Facilitation Expert for FTL, Mr. Ragy facilitates export of organic food products from Lebanon into the North American market, where he has successfully helped a food producer cluster, adapt, market, and receive U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for exporting to the United States. Before this, he has worked for five years on USAID projects in the region, including with the Nathan-implemented USAID/Egypt Trade Facilitation Program (TFP) as the Retail Distribution Expert, leading capacity-building efforts for SMEs generating over $1.4M in initial sales orders and $5M in projected future orders for home goods SMEs.
